Our Board Members

A retired qualified Chartered Accountant, I have wide and varied experience providing financial advice to small not for profit organisations. I enjoy being car scheme driver and a befriender. I also enjoy walking my 2 springer spaniels and I recently joined the Bella Voce choir!

Now retired from a career in IT, I set up a local food bank and I'm involved with the Rotary Club, Church and Therapy Gardens. I've been a volunteer driver for over 10 years and director for 5. I play the guitar and accordion, enjoys working on the allotment and admit that I have a season ticket for Arbroath FC.

I joined the board in 2022. My role on the board is as a client/user representative.  I enjoy reading, especially thrillers, and also enjoy diamond painting and watching sports on the TV!  I have a cat called Tuxedo, he is will be 2 years old in May, and he is very funny and likes to get into trouble!

I am a retired community Pharmacist and have previous experience volunteering in the charity sector on projects in Peru and India. I am a car scheme driver, member of the Rotary Club of Spey Valley and enjoy cycling both on and off road and walking.

I am originally from Northumberland but have lived in Carr Bridge for the past 33 years. I am a member of The Rotary Club of Spey Valley. Before I retired I worked for Diageo at Glendullan Distillery in Dufftown.  I enjoy walking and cycling now that I have an e-bike.

I'm a copywriter with a background in branding and marketing. I live in Carrbridge, so being on the board is an opportunity to share my professional experience with Community ConnXions and support a team that's doing such important work in our local area.

I am a retired Nurse having worked in the NHS for over 40 years.  I have been involved in volunteer driving, music afternoons and more recently with the allotment.  I live in Dalraddy and my hobbies include traveling, walking and cycling.

I have been fortunate to work in both education and further education at a senior level for many years,  so I have a good understanding of how both local authoritities and government departments operate. 
I joined the BSCX board in 2024 with a particular interest in developing and proposing new opportunities for this organisation and our local community.
